Shinola Wicker Park / Bucktown Store

To create an ultramodern timepiece production facility in Detroit, we converted 12,000 square feet of space. This marked the first time in nearly 50 years that an American timepiece factory had been in operation. Furthermore, in the Argonaut Building at The College for Creative Studies, our Detroit Headquarters occupies 95,000 square feet. This is where we introduced our first watch in a newspaper advertisement. The Runwell timepiece was first introduced to the public in March 2013 as a limited edition watch that featured our commitment to US craftsmanship, timeless design, and top-grade construction.
